The water roared as it raced down river. It was fast, and water droplets flicked around the area. You could hear it's crashing from miles away.
I stood on the rocky ledge, waiting.
My eyes where trained on the bears below. If they spotted me it wouldn't be a good situation. I was stilled, fearful. If i messed this up it could end my life. But I didn't have a choice.
I was trespassing on a packs territory, so it was a choice between bears and wolves. The bears as threatened as they were, didn't hit as hard as a whole pack of pissed wolves.
I lowed my body to the ground, watching. I needed to hurry. I needed to get out.
On the other side of the river was a dead zone. A place no pack had laid claim to.
The birds above called, the bears dove for fish, and my claws scratched against the rocks.
My small body darted quickly, and was deep in water seconds later. I swam as fast as I could, making sure my body didn't drift.
I could hear the bears roar
And all I could do was hope now
The water hit my soaked face
It's cold chilling me to the Bone
A shadow appeared
And I almost froze
I desperately pushed against the water
The growling became louder
And then it stopped
I squirmed, but I was stuck against a massive rock.
I fought as best I could
But it wasn't enough
The fast moving water dragged me sideways, twisting my body. I howled in pain, and went limp
I couldn't get out, and with a few angry bears and a wolf pack closing in on me
I closed my eyes
And waited for the worst
Sorry for such a dark story, didn't mean to get so morbid. Hope you liked it none the less.
