Feel the Fear . . . and Do It Anyway
Some emotions that you may experience when training for your first #marathon
can include excitement, pride, and anticipation. While at the same time during training for your first marathon you may also feel negative emotions like anxiety, doubt, angst, and fear.
Of all my goals, running a Marathon is the scariest, I have some many reason not to run. However this is not just for me, I have to set goals that are almost out of reach. If you set a goal that is attainable without much work or thought, you are stuck with something below your true #talent
Truth is I want to give myself the chance while I can? Because even though you might not want to give up on your dreams, if you put if off long enough, your dreams could give up on you. Because #dreams
are not perpetual, they are temporary. Like many things in life, they have expiration dates. And when they expire all you might have left is your comfort. But you may find that your comfort will soon start to resemble regret. And as I’m sure you’ve heard before, Regret is eternal.
are temporary. It may last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or a year, but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place. If I quit, if I don’t go after my goal/#dreams
this will haunt me forever.
