No filter needed for this post shower glow. As a mama, solo showers are sacred. Part of my self care routine is making time at least once a week to shower without my toddler near by so I can take the time after to rub body butter into my skin and apply toner and oil to my face. Below is a recipe for our Empress Face Oil that will keep your skin feeling hydrated and healthy during the cold and dry winter months 🌱
•1/2 Oz burdock infused jojoba oil
•1/2 Oz calendula infused argan oil
•1 Oz rose hip infused olive oil
•6 drops chamomile essential oil
•6 drops lavender essential oil •12 drops helichrysum •a few chips of aventurine 🌿a little about the herbs and oils in our blend-
•Jojoba oil-Helps skin stay youthful and prevents wrinkles. High in omega 3 and 6, and vitamins A, D, and E. •Argan oil-Rich in fatty acids, and super moisturizing.
•Extra virgin olive oil-Nourishing face oil, absorbs into the skin easily.
•Burdock root-Anti-aging, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial. •Calendula-Anti-inflammatory and antibacterial. Reduces dry skin and acne. Soothes eczema. Reduces the appearance of scars, wrinkles and age spots.
•Rose hip-Anti-aging, antibacterial, promotes healing. Heals tissues, and acts on a cellular level to repair and regenerate, as well as fights cell damage caused by free radicals.
•Helichrysum essential oil-Astringent, relieves eczema, reduces scar tissue and acne. (Contraindications: avoid if 12 years of age or younger.)
•German chamomile essential oil-Helps even skin tone and eases blemishes. Aids skin in repairing, regenerating, and strengthening to keep skin young.
•Lavender essential oil-Anti-inflammatory, helps prevent wrinkles, and soothes dry skin.
