This dry skin January day I want to share some of my favorite go-to items to get me and my skin through this dry ish. Rose Ointment and Dry Skin Serum.
//Rose Ointment- A Forever Favorite🌹// Rose ointment is made with Young Living's Rose oil, (the highest frequency oil) and is calming and nourishing to the skin. It's texture is similar to a salve, and can be used for like everything! It works to maintain the natural PH balance of the skin, soothing dry or chapped skin. As we're in the height of winter, I never want to run out! 1 jar lasts a looong time, though, because like everything else young living, you don't need much. Seriously had this for like almost a year. Getting the best bang for the buck! Here are a few of the uses:
🌱Dry, flaky skin or lips👄
🌱Healing support for new tattoos🦋
🌱Pet irritations on the skin
🌱Soothe little noses, or big ones, when you use too many tissues😷🤒🤧
🌱Daily/nightly lip balm💋
🌱Ashy patches on your knees or elbows💪
🌱A perfect substitute for carrier oil
You'll thank me later!
//Dry Skin Serum//
Cedarwood, Blue Cypress, Lavender, Myrrh, Clove, Wolfberry + Royal Hawaiian Sandalwood! Literallllly of many of the skin beautifying oils all in one!
It's a Beauty serum for dry skin, but don't let that fool you! It’s not heavy at ALL and feels light yet so soft and moisturizing.
If you have oily skin, know that it could be your body saying "hey girl, drink more water and moisturize me more often!" We typically think oily skin calls for products that are more drying, but that's not necessarily always the case 😁
You'll feel and see a very dramatic difference in just a few short days. Add it to your moisturizer, or use it right out of the bottle like I do! Use it right with my rose ointment.
For all of you that are expecting out there, this would be SUCH a treat for your itchy, stretchy, beautiful growing belly.
I should probably mention, it smells like a DREAM. So so good.. so don't hesitate to use it at night before you drift off.
