▪️Close ribcage on the exhalation through back line, anchoring sit bones to heels, feet flexed ✔️ .
▪️This is key to ensure continual communication & fine tuning between front & back line muscles to articulate the spine with length ✔️ .
▪️This prevents the temptation to use momentum to work through those ‘sticky’ areas, & instead utilise the genius two way opposing energy of Pilates Opposition which gives additional control & the time & space to bring about change ✔️ .
▪️When rolling up into Teaser take the legs to around 45 degrees to maintain the ‘C’ Curve, lifting the legs from underneath instead of hooking into full-on hip flexors thereby losing the all important support & power of the posterior chain ✔️ .
