The First Phase of the Virtual Workshop on Mental Health with a total number of 30 participants was collaboratively organized by YTS and Peace First on 23rd April.
We are pleased to share with you all that Youth Thinkers' Society in collaboration with Peace First is organizing the Second Phase of Virtual Workshop on Mental Health on 30th April, Thursday from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM.
The facilitator of the Virtual Workshop on Mental Health: Phase II is Ms. Richa Gupta, Co-founder of Labhya Foundation.
As Co-founder of Labhya Foundation, an India-based nonprofit, Richa's journey has revolved around the question, “What does it take to preserve empathy among children?” Richa has worked as an educator, volunteer, mentor & activist with children from at-risk, refugee & migrant communities across India. She has been a Teach For India fellow, a Girls20 Ambassador & a Teach For All Global Girls’ Education fellow. Richa co-founded Labhya with a vision to enable all children to become conscious decision-makers. Today, her program impacts over 2 million children and 110,000 teachers in about 21,000 government schools of India, on a daily basis.
Young people across the world are fighting the COVID 19 pandemic in every way they can. But, nothing about this global crisis is normal and that is affecting a lot of young people in many ways. From struggling with the idea of productivity to experiencing mental health issues, young people need support, as they persevere to support others every day.
Our endeavour is to create a safe space for such young people, to explore our emotions more deeply, and practice mindfulness together.
Hence, please join our workshop by clicking the link which is in our bio.
