Workout one for December stamped on my calendar. Take notes, write more than just sets info. Be real. What sucked, what didn't. That helps you each time to know where you were and where you are. Is there pain? Fatigue? Does it feel too easy?
Hit a big new number in my deadlifts today. I haven't been able to do them or squats for nearly 4 years, until 3 months ago. As my lung function dipped under 30% I just couldn't handle loading up weight that put pressure on my chest. 3 months in and only 7 post transplant, and I'm creeping up on my 1rm from a decade ago. 325lbs was my best back in the day, and I'm rapidly gaining on it. 275 felt easy twice and I'm at 255 for reps. Really proud of that progress. At 5' 3" 132lbs I'd love to gain a few more lbs and then eventually crush 8plates (365) we shall see. Set goals, then set steps to get there. I'm rotating through a number of leg and back routines to continue to push my overall progress toward this goal.
