Repost from @thesavemovement
A baby buffalo washed up on a beach in southern Italy. Sadly, it is not unusual for the activists of @salernoanimalsave
and @salernoclimatesave to find these tragic scenes.
This is because the area is known to produce “the best” mozzarella. In fact, it is considered to be the best and highest-quality mozzarella in the world, and yet, as with every kind of human activities which causes animal and environmental exploitation, the death of poor and innocent babies is constantly witnessed.
The local newspapers always report the news as soon as the activists have shown the bodies on their social media pages, but, as of the current time, no intervention has been taken to stop these atrocities.
Baby buffaloes are usually, and illegally, thrown into the river but, no matter if the action is legal or illegal, these videos show the deep suffering behind this kind of production and how it is destroying our environment.
These actions are greatly polluting our natural resources, both within the legal and illegal activities. Buffalo farms are polluting the rivers, the air, and destroying the soil, so every individual involved—farmed animals, wild animals and humans—are perishing for so-called ‘food’.
Please ditch ANY kind of dairy products from your plate. The lives of these babies, their mothers, our natural sources, and the future of our children, are worth more than a bite of pleasure.
