Iโm so ready to come back to Atlanta. I love Dallas, and being away from home for 6 months is the longest Iโve been away. I think it was the right decision to leave though. Too many people just get complacent where they are. It makes sense. You have your friends, you know where everything is. But, I remember a coach in freshman year of highschool saying something to the class. โMost people will never leave this areaโ. He wasnโt even talking about the state, he literally meant that zip code. For some reason that always stuck with me. I knew after highschool I wouldnโt stay. I lived in Florida for a little bit (Tallahassee) hated it and moved back. I realized I needed to save up a bit and go where I actually wanted to go which was Texas. So In May I did. It was scary as hell. I knew nobody, would be 700 miles away from all family but my brother. I honestly thought Dallas had no grass or trees tbh I thought it would look like Odessa ๐๐๐๐. But I moved to Texas with plans to go to Houston and still want to. Realize that Home will always be there, itโs not going anywhere. But I think experiencing new places, new people, and new environments help us grow in all aspects of life. Do whatever you have to do to grow as a person. Donโt be comfortable because no matter what it is, being in the middle is dangerous. Yโall have a great week and youโre a G if you read this whole thing, Iโm up at 4A.M. and really need to sleep. โ๐ฝ
