SING LOUDLY, DANCE FREELY
I probably put it up someplace safe—but where would that be? That glad song of salvation—it’s in the tent of the righteous, so it’s in here somewhere (Ps. 118:15). I/We need to find it. For He is our strength and song, causing us to trust and not be afraid: HE is salvation (Ps. 118:14, Isa. 12:2). HE’s our Savior, making us whole, uniting all the parts of our identity, bringing us into completeness and harmony. As our Savior, Redeemer, Lord, He gives us “peace at all times, in all ways,” always staying with us, our ready/constant source of peace (2 Thes. 3:16). Peace at ALL times, in ALL ways!!! Abba, restore the joy of our salvation, our song of deliverance, and weave its keys and rhythms afresh into the fabric of our being. Tighten its weave within us—from head to toe. For we need to don our shoes of Good-News-peace and leave our reconciliation-footprint upon this earth.
This world is in dire need of peace; Romans 3:10-18 tells us so. Our culture is filled with iniquity, brokenness, rejection of God, with wounded people wounding people, with people with no peace taking away the peace of others. This world needs us, those with beautiful feet who journey through this battlefield, decked in dancing-shoes of the Good-News peace (with God/of God), who dance in life to the rhythms of the song of salvation (Ro. 10:14-15, Eph. 6:15). This world needs us to dance and sing (Ps.149:3). Abba, today may our profound reconciliation with You—our God of Peace, our Song, our Praise in the dance, our Salvation—naturally, normally, boldly sing and dance among friends, family, strangers. May our dancing/singing broadly sow seeds. Bring a rich harvest. May we walk in such Good News that others can understand, hear, believe, and receive ALL that Jesus’s Blood has purchased. May our lives sing our Song (You), dancing freely, speaking hope and reconciliation to a world thriving in disagreement, discord, and disharmony. May our lives minister reconciliation (2 Cor. 5:18). Let’s dance freely, sing loudly.
