Did you know that beauty marks are considered “imperfections of the skin”? I disagree 100% with this and I think they are beautiful. They make a person unique. Which is why I included a beauty mark above the lips in Sponge’s logo.
Sponge is a beauty company. But one that challenges the status quo. Our Menu looks have inspiring names like “The Go-Getter”, “The Inspiration” and “The Boss”. Sponge is about celebrating women and their achievements.
Which is why I was very excited to talk to @wellmagazineasia
about how “trends” are changing and we’re seeing a move from women wanting to be skinny to women just wanting to be healthy - no matter what that looks like. Women are eating more, lifting heavier weights and feeling more confident. I myself am on that journey. “On a scale of 1-10, how body confident are you?
I would be lying if I told you I felt like a 10 every day. I don’t. There are good days, and there are bad days. But I thank my body for what it does for me every day. I constantly push my body in a way I never did when I was younger, and it responds. For that, I am thankful.” Head to @wellmagazineasia
