These are several moments captured (painting, mandala work and a mural on a farm in P.R.) but the exert below is an overall theme of finding your source ✍🏽🤍 I love the focus and attention required when creating, especially with Mandala Art ⭕️ Thank you @natybynature
for sharing introspectively with your art & questions we can ask ourselves.
Works & Notes by @natybynature
The Yin-Yang Portal (2nd image 👆🏽) “Yin & yang elements come in pairs—such as the moon & the sun, female & male, dark & bright, cold & hot, passive & active, & so on—but note that yin & yang are not static or mutually exclusive terms. While the world is composed of many different, sometimes opposing, forces, these can coexist & even complement each other. Sometimes, forces opposite in nature even rely on one another to exist. The nature of yin-yang lies in the interchange & interplay of the two components. The alternation of day & night is just such an example: there cannot be a shadow without light” (-Jun Shan)
During these times, what light & shadow sides have been coming up?
-How do you find #balance
amidst everything going on?
-Do you believe balance can/will exist AC (#aftercorona
-How will that look?
I’ve been diving in to the shadow sides a lot this week. In my reflections, I know that here is where a lot of the light work is done. This is not a place to fear. To achieve balance, we must learn & embrace all the aspects of ourselves. It is here that we can determine how to proceed.
I created this illustration using Adobe Illustrator a few months ago, tweaked tonight.
