will return to our Antiques section to showcase their collection of European and German silver from the 16th until the 19th century and their Kunstkammer objects during TEFAF Maastricht 2020.
The Galerie Neuse was founded in 1967 by Mr. Achim Neuse. Since 1973 the company has been jointly run by the equal partners, Achim Neuse and Volker Wurster. Having gained many years’ experience in attending German trade fairs since 1976, the two gallery-owners decided to internationalise their activity in the 1980’s. The second half of the 80’s saw the company represented at the TEFAF trade fair in Maastricht, which had been globally-oriented from the outset, and at the Biennale in the Palazzo Strozzi in Florence. Buoyed up by these successes, they decided in 1990 to attend the Biennale des Antiquaires in Paris, and the Art & Dealers Show in New York in 1991 and London Grosvenor House Art & Antiques Fair.
