Loving that the majority of Aussie makeup artists who were asked for their favourite brow product by @fashionjournalmagazine
chose for #crueltyfree @anastasiabeverlyhills
Be aware if you're looking to cut out all animal ingredients from your beauty regime, as the @anastasiabeverlyhills Dipbrow Gel contains beeswax (the other three products featured here are all vegan!). Big compliments to Anastasia Beverly Hills how they've very clearly marked #vegan
products on their website!! I've tried to find out whether @amy.jean.brow.agency's products are cruelty-free, but unfortunately I couldn't find it, and I also couldn't find any information on the ingredients of the featured brow pencil. @maccosmetics (also mentioned in this article) is definitely not cruelty-free, so stay away from their products if you'd like to support cruelty-free cosmetics!
As a side note that I feel needs mentioning when talking about brow products, @benefitcosmetics is another very popular brow brand and is NOT cruelty-free. Luckily none of the makeup artists mentioned this brand, but I did want to point this out as I'm sure people are wondering.
The fun thing of this article is that these four @anastasiabeverlyhills brow products all cater for different people/requirements.
The brow powder that @robpoveymua recommends can be used to create a very natural brow with the perfect ombre effect (light at the start, darker at the end) and is available in 11 colour combinations (keep on reading if you want to find out about ONE powder that caters for MOST people!). The dipbrow pomade that @gg.mua recommends is great for a stronger, heavier brow. Although Georgia mentions she also uses it for a light feathered brow.
The big brow pro palette (swoon...) that @chrisarai loves has all 11 brow powders plus a brow primer (because they had 1 spot left?) - so that's two votes for the brow powder! The name of the palette says it all, this one is great for pro's. For your own personal use you just need to find out which one is right for you and buy a single. As a makeup artist I think this palette is awesome, because I really dislike having tons of little jars in my kit.
