Throw back Thursday to present Thursday: I have reached my 5 yr anniversary from when the dark clouds of complacency, after having 3 kids overpowered my mind with the routines of life. I made a choice that I wanted life to be set on my terms and who I wanted to become. As we are human “beings” and not human “doings.” This is not about your body, it’s about being in control of your conscience mind because the subconscious habits of stress and survival hormones limit us from becoming who we potentially can be. When you start overcoming your mind to the things that your body is not used to, you start realizing that you are in control of your inner world and you start freeing yourself from the shackles of the control from the outer environment (blaming, complaining, victimization). When you start being aware of changes because of what YOU do, it releases this chemical called oxytocin, which then signals nitric oxide, this then signals a chemical called derived endothelium relaxing factor where this opens up your hearts’ arteries to more blood, nutrients and oxygen, the heart then feels whole and you feel this sensational feeling of love that you can’t even understand. Living to love life and bottom line, becoming happier! Our feeling and our thoughts create our state of being and when it is positive, get ready because innovation, creativity and “Disney magic” starts happening! When you invest time in yourself, (not just the gym, I’m talking about things that you have never done before, like even forcing yourself to read because I hate reading or meditation) you invest in your future. When you believe in yourself, you believe in possibilities and if you believe in possibilities, you believe in yourself. This is what martial arts training is all about. Not just building confidence, as it goes much deeper than that! 2020 try to do things you don’t normally do as self challenges and learning is what makes life so much more fun to live! Plus a happy wife, happy life, to all my bros out there! Good luck and just wanted to share as this has tremendously helped my paradigm on why we live life and must live to the fullest!
