In 2015, I decided to learn hand lettering.
I was a stay at home mom of 3 (5 and under) and needed a creative outlet that was just for me. I’ve always loved lettering and fonts and different styles of writing, so this was a perfect fit.
If you had told me back in 2015 that starting Lettered Grace would open doors and for me to teach, lead, encourage, and inspire others, I probably would’ve laughed. I would’ve doubted that a “little hobby” could do those things. I could’ve never imagined that the time I spent staying up late to work through @amandaarneill
courses or browse blog posts online for the best pens and paper would end up connecting me with so many amazing people, friends, and opportunities.
Tonight, I taught the first lettering workshop for 2020 and my gratitude overflows! 14 women chose to spend their Friday night with me, learning the creative skill that I’ve loved for years. Moms and daughters and old friends and new friends gathered at that table tonight and I’m so incredibly thankful!
Lettered Grace has transformed in a lot of ways since launching in 2015, but goodness gracious am I blessed by the unwavering support and enthusiasm from this little family of friends!
This year, I’m diving deeper into my love of letters and writing, encouraging and teaching. I’m believing that God has some great things planned for 2020 - for me and for you, too!
What is THE thing you keep pushing aside? That little whisper that won’t go away? The idea everyone says is crazy, but is really a dream you want to chase? What would it look like if you took one step towards it today? What’s stopping you?
Don’t let doubt and fear and the unknown hold you back - let’s chase those crazy, big, God-sized dreams with all we have! 5 years from now, you’ll look back and be amazed at all the ways God moved in and through and for you.💕
Big shout out to @hammerandstainmiddlega
for hosting our workshop tonight! I can’t wait for the next one!
